Lemonstand
Price: 29.00
Lemonstand has a great start and the licensed product was exceptional but our immediate feeling is that the Lemonstand Cloud product is not finished. Until a few things are added and tweaked I wouldn't recommend this to a live store
00000Lemonstand used to be a solid licensed shopping cart that worked wonderfully for small to medium businesses and it’s only draw back was that it was a memory hog and ran slowly unless you had good web hosting. For two years no they have been promising a hosted, cloud version of the platform and they have finally delivered it.
The short version is that it isn’t ready to use and you should just move onto reading our Bigcommerce review. bookmark this post and come back in about 6 months when the software has been developed more. the core is all their and looks good. the templates are powerful so your store will look good. But it doesn’t have all the usual refinements and features that you will need to make your online store profitable.

Lemonstand Pros
Lemonstand Cons
- No app store yet to get extensions and modules for features not yet developed – problematic because the store is incomplete
- No free templates – at the moment there is one template only (Zesty) and it is very blank
Should you use Lemonstand?
If you have the old licensed version on good web host go for it. If you are looking for a SaaS, hosted or cloud shopping cart I can’t recommend Lemonstand just yet. It will be great once it’s finished because Lemonstand v1 was great but right now it feels like a demo not a shopping cart worth $100 a month that you should try and base a successful business on.
