I have been developing shopping carts for ver a decade now and have developed templates, themes, plugins and custom solutions for thousands of businesses in that time. One thing I have learnt is that choosing the correct ecommerce platform is most of the battle.

I have been writing shopping cart reviews for at least 4 years now. I don’t even know how I started. I thought I was saving myself some time by publishing my thoughts in advanced and eliminating the same questions every client seemed to have. I was wrong. It led to more and more questions. It led to more difficult and complex questions (stupid me for answering the easy one’s up front).

I almost pulled the reviews at one point until a timely comment from one of the ecommerce companies pointed me at their affiliate program and said I may as well start getting paid because a lot of the people reading my rants were signing up. This seemed like a great solution to the problem of maintaining the reviews and managing the visitors.

Apparently though by accepting money for referring people to these shopping carts taints my objectivity because naturally I would have a bais to the ones that pay over the one’s that don’t. Fear not, they all pay. I don’t care which one you select I will get a commission. I am not saying this to be an ass, it is a fact. They all pay me for referrals and they all pay me the same. There is nothing to be gained by giving misleading reviews, except screwing my reputation, something I am not prepared to do. Commissions are not that good.
